10. We opened a retail shop.  Earlier this March we opened our very own shop at Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles.  We’ve been there for almost 10 months now, and it’s been fantastic.   We love being surrounded by other artisans that love their craft.  We work, share business ideas, laugh, and laugh some more.  We understand the struggles of working late nights, ordering last minute supplies because we miscalculated something, and the warm feeling we experience when we all do well.  Come visit us if you haven’t already!!

Hello hello!  How are you guys??  I apologize for not posting anything new in months.  We’ve been really busy at our new shop, and unfortunately this blog has been neglected :(.  No need to worry because we’re back to blogging.  The past two months at Crafted have really been amazing.  I’ll definitely be blogging more about our experiences in the upcoming posts :).  Let’s start off with a quick photo taken at our grand opening celebrations at Crafted (I don’t remember who took my camera and snapped this shot, but thank you so much)!  There was ribbon cutting, lots of cheering, and of course we had champagne.

Is this heavy cream or shea butter soap?

Am I stirring heavy cream or is this actually shea butter soap?  It’s SOAP!  We made a few big batches of shea butter soap and wanted to make film it so everyone can see how creamy and milky it is when it’s melted.  Our shea butter soaps have been very popular at shows and we can’t wait to start listing them onto our Etsy Shop.

BTW are you following us on Instagram?  We post lots of behind the scenes photos that aren’t on this blog.  So make sure you follow us if you’re interested in taking a peak into what we’re currently working on :)
